My name is Korena Hillier.  I am a 24 year old female.   Between going to school, college and about any other course I could get on for free (mustn't look a gift horse in the mouth!) I have done many jobs.  Over the years I have been a shop assistant, kitchen technician, cook, auxiliary nurse, encyclopedia sales person... the list goes on!  After many years of chasing around, have come full circle and ended up being the Graphic Designer I wanted to be when I was 15.  I do Choi-kwan do, a martial art derived from Tae-kwon do, mainly because the master knackered his joint and decided to adapt this sport to be a more fluid form of self-defense.  I love rollerblading and play a bit of rollerhockey.  I really enjoy reading and have a great respect for books.  I've spent many hours in the grasp of an authors descriptive talents.  My favourites are sci-fi/fantasy books and authors such as Terry Pratchett, J.R.R. Tolken, Sheri S. Tepper etc.  Another one of my favourite books is Brave New World by Aldus Huxley and I find it quite scary to find that many of the ficticious concepts he described thirty years ago have a familiar ring to them.
